Tributes: Honor and Memorial Gifts
Tributes are a thoughtful and caring way to honor or remember your loved one and at the same time, help others. Recipients or their family members will be notified of your gift. To do this online simply select the “I would like to dedicate this donation” box and follow the prompts. For other types of donations please include the name of your honoree, and the name and address of the person you would like to receive the notification.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations will match an employee’s gift to charitable organizations. In addition, some provide donations to the organization where their employees volunteer. Please contact your Human Resource Department for more information and forms.Recurring Donations
Making regular donations (i.e. monthly) makes it easy to support My Sisters’ Place throughout the year and conveniently spread a more impactful gift over time. You can set up an easy, recurring donation when you donate online by selecting the “Recurring Donation” options and following the prompts.
Run a Crowdfunding Campaign
Support My Sisters’ Place while spreading awareness of the work we do in the community! Running a crowdfunding campaign is an easy way to raise funds for our organization. We provide the personalized campaign link, and you create your own fundraising page to share with your network of family and friends. Any funds you raise go directly into My Sisters’ Place’s account, and you are listed as our fundraiser! Contact Annette Scheidecker to learn more about this great opportunity!

Gifts of Stocks, Securities, Real Estate, Bequests, and Other Gifts
Gifts of stock or securities, bequests, or other planned gifts are important to My Sisters’ Place because they are usually large gifts that are often not restricted and enable us to do our work and fulfill our mission. If you are considering this type of gift, please consult with your estate planning attorney and then feel free to discuss your intent with us.

Ways that you can be a positive force in the mission of My Sisters’ Place, while also creating a positive and lasting impact within the Hartford community include:
- Donating a tax-deductible gift to be applied to one or more of My Sisters’ Place programs.
- Pledging a predetermined, tax-deductible dollar amount on a regular basis to My Sisters’ Place.
- By including a gift to My Sisters’ Place in your overall estate or financial plans, you will help ensure that we have the resources available to continue the quest to end homelessness.
