Our For the Love of Children Initiative (FLOCI) helps to break the cycle of homelessness by offering formerly homeless children who reside in our permanent supportive housing programs skill building programming, recreational and enrichment activities that prepare children for school and help social development in school-aged children and tutoring focused on math, reading and homework skills. FLOCI is the only Hartford youth program exclusively serving formerly homeless children and has received recognition for the truly comprehensive array of case management and supports we provide children such as seamless connections to behavioral health services and advocacy services supporting our children with disabilities and other special needs.
